Here you can see the thin tailgate cover.

As you can see, the tailgate cap does not go all the way to the edges, leaving a small strip of exposed metal if we leave the cap in place.

After removing the tailgate cap we can go all the way around the tailgate cap.

Because David chose "Canopy Style" rails, we had to flare the sides down and blend into the tailgate cap. For a nice finishing touch, we installed Bull Rings that blend right in with the liner.
