According
to an online survey at www.tundrasolutions.com LINE-X is
preferred over it’s nearest competitor 2 to 1. Additionally,
LINE-X is preferred 10-1 over the next nearest competitor.
Here
are a couple of customer comments from the on-line survey:
“I too
have the Line-X liner, just got it last week, and love it! Soooo
much nicer than the old plastic Pendaliner in my dear departed
Tacoma. They (my local Line-X dealer) did an awesome job on it,
looks like it came with the truck from the factory.”
“In my
opinion, plastic drop in liners do more harm than good because
they are constantly moving around in the back of the truck as
you drive....therefore rubbing away at the paint underneath. The
space between the plastic liners is a perfect place for water to
collect. Water + Bare Metal = RUST!!! “
“In answer
to what's wrong with drop-in liners: 1. They trap moisture. My
94 Dodge had a drop-in liner. The bed is completely rusted out.
My 89 Dodge had no liner. There is very little bed rust. 2. They
are slippery. Anything in the bed must be lashed down to keep
from sliding and banging around. 3. They fly out of the bed.
There is nothing quite like driving down the interstate and
seeing a bedliner coming down at you!” |
